How a pot pays
- Pledge. At least 1,000 $PLEDGEPOT into the open pot. One pledge per wallet; top it up any time before the close.
- The cut line. The three biggest pledges sit above it. On a tie the earlier pledge ranks higher. Everyone below it is paying them, which is generous of everyone below it.
- The close. When the clock runs out, seat one keeps its pledge plus 50% of every smaller pledge, seat two plus 30%, seat three plus 20%. No house cut. Three pledges or fewer: everyone gets their own back.
